    The Book of Eli

See it soon... My wife and I saw The Book of Eli last weekend. My wife actually liked it! (as did I) It is a rare occurrence that she likes an action movie (especially one that has a post apocalyptic theme); so, I consider that a pretty decent indicator that a wide variety of people will...

    New Toy

Awesome car! It's getting so rare to see a nice old muscle car. Especially a relatively unusual one (not a Mustang, Chevelle, Corvette, Dart, etc.). As for wheels, make it personal. Torque Thrusts sure are nice (and period appropriate), as are CRAGERS, but some of the newer styles are...

    Helmet suggestions

Good advice for buying and fit, from others (above). I have a Zeus ZS-508W. Its a modular (flip-up). It cost me around 75 bucks (great freakin' deal!!!) and you can still get them for around $100 or less. Yes, its yellow (exactly like my avatar). ...and, yes, its a good helmet.

    have to share

Gorgeous bike. There was a similar one at the Mass BIA show, today. Hope some of you saw it!

    Mass Bia Meet

I was there, too! Lots of nice bikes and a great time!!! Bummer that you hit hail. We also stayed until the awards were given out, then left. We stopped at a gas station with pumps that had an overhang and waited the ten or fifteen minutes, then it was clear skies for the rest of the...

    1979 Bonneville

My buddy has a '79. Its a nice bike and sounds absolutely glorious. However, if you want a bike like that, you best have mechanical skills. **I MEAN IT** They are temperamental British bikes (and I love 'em). They do not ride anything like a new Bonnie (T-100). My friend is a very...

    Let the hate begin...

I love the stretched swing arm. I was just talking to a friend the other day about a '70s Bonnie that I had a picture of with one. We discussed whether it would look cool on a new one and guess what? It does!!! (...but you already knew that!)

    Sales $$$ Destination fee??

I bought a 2007 leftover last year. I didn't pay any dealer fees or destination charge. I also got a screamin' deal, as the dealer really wanted to move it off his showroom floor. Conversely, in my experience, a destination charge usually isn't negotiable. At all, period. However, this...

Bobble Head Helmets (3/4 open face)

I'm a bobble head!!! I actually wear the helmet shown as my avatar! (PS: Are the JP helmets really that bad? I like the look of them, but don't own one. Any specific feedback would be appreciated.)

    Parabellum Scout Fairing ??

Bonneville "Executive" YES! I saved the pics, because I liked it so much. Here they are! If I remember correctly, all of these are pics of the same bike with the same owner. The larger fairing is from a '60s aftermarket accessory company. I'm drawing a blank on the name at the...

    Yet another Newbie TORs Question

Thanks guys! I'm definitely gonna have to do some more research on the BC Sleepers. I was completely unaware of them. If they sound like the originally styled Preds, they could be the ones I get. The photo on the BC web site makes them look a bit shorter than stock though. It also appears...

    Yet another Newbie TORs Question

Okay, I know this has probably been beaten to death a billion times on this site, but I'll ask anyway... Will TORs look exactly the same as the stock pipes on my 2007 Bonneville? I love the sound of Predators, but the look is quite different. If I bought a new U.S. spec EFI...
