I've got the Dominator touring on my SE and I like them, but I had Staintunes on my '02 and they really did have a nice tone. Where you live, I'd get the Staintunes.

So the pegs won't fit a EFI model

I just wish the factory would make an accurate speedometer, the one on my SE reads 72-74 at 60 mph, checked with a gps. A simple gear change would be nice.

I can see the board racks, but a 3 hour drive for surf in Texas? It's bad enough here in Florida, but we do get some decent surf fairly often. Every time I was near the Gulf it was flat city.

I used to take my board on my 1960 BMW with a sidecar all the time, I made some foam cushions cut to match the board and side car mounts and a few bungees and viola! it worked great.

pipes I put a set of the Triumph Performance Dominator touring slip ons on, had the remap done, added a K&N, removed the snorkel, and used British Custom's low Ai removal kit. The bike runs like a scalded dog, (sorry pup),and still gets 47-48 MPG in town and in the 50's on the road.:cya:

air injection I'll let you know soon, 'cause I'm having my dealer install one from his shop as soon as my pipes come in, that way the warranty will still be valid. I do know that they put a resistor in.

Has anyone removed thier air injection on a fuel injected motor, my dealer has a kit for them, but the guys at Bonneville Performance told me that it really doesn't give you any real benefit, so save you're money. I'd like some iput from somebody that has done it, or has a little more knowledge...

Rail yes, the Triumph one is smaller, but still easily accessible for the passenger.

That's the same colour my 2002 was, I allways liked it.

I put a set of Icons on my SE with stand bonnie lenth, they made quite a large difference in how she rode, the ricors in the front didn,t hurt either. She now handles and rides much better, good luck.
