Is .5mm alot? It doesn't sound like much but maybe "normal wear" really is minimal???
Seems strange that there are different service limits specified for what is practically the same disc.....the numbers for the Scram and Thrux appear to be different too. Or maybe the manual is plain wrong?
I reckon front discs are 296mm diameter.
The calipers fitted on those F3s are suspiciously similar to the Bonnie caliper.....2 piston sliding Nissin unit. Maybe Speedmaster calipers will bolt straight on?
EBC sell the discs.
There's calipers on Ebay in the UK......may be an expensive...
The F3 forks are going to be a huge improvement over the stock Triumph items but the stock Honda cartridges are still pretty poor in real terms.
Some companies...Traxxion, K-tech in the UK, there will be others...... offer a drop in cartridge kit that gives better performance and tuneability...
The F3 forks are a proper cartridge fork giving you far more tuneability and control than the cheap and crappy damper rod forks on the Bonnie.........if you really want to go wild get some Traxxion Dynamics 20mm cartridges to go in the F3 forks.

Has the bike been dropped on the left? Could be a bent selector.
Does this happen only with the motor running? If so then clutch adjustment.
Alternatively low oil level or wrong oil (cue an oil debate). :popcorn:
