Need to know front rotor min. thickness tolerance

Is .5mm alot? It doesn't sound like much but maybe "normal wear" really is minimal??? Seems strange that there are different service limits specified for what is practically the same disc.....the numbers for the Scram and Thrux appear to be different too. Or maybe the manual is plain wrong?

Need to know front rotor min. thickness tolerance

Hmmm having re-read the bloody manual 790 Bonnie: thickness 5.0mm, service limit 4.5mm. 865 Bonnie: thickness 5.5mm, service limit 5.0mm. Odd.

    Need front end advice

I reckon front discs are 296mm diameter. The calipers fitted on those F3s are suspiciously similar to the Bonnie caliper.....2 piston sliding Nissin unit. Maybe Speedmaster calipers will bolt straight on? EBC sell the discs. There's calipers on Ebay in the UK......may be an expensive...

    Need front end advice

The F3 forks are a proper cartridge fork giving you far more tuneability and control than the cheap and crappy damper rod forks on the Bonnie.........if you really want to go wild get some Traxxion Dynamics 20mm cartridges to go in the F3 forks. If you want to keep the Triumph wheel you...

help with Meta357 alarm fitment to Thruxton

The Triumph alarm sits on the frame under the middle of the seat...there's 2 holes where welnuts insert to provide some vibration damping.

    Rough Gear Selector Movement

4,000 miles over? That's probably the problem....it'll be like water.

    Rough Gear Selector Movement

Has the bike been dropped on the left? Could be a bent selector. Does this happen only with the motor running? If so then clutch adjustment. Alternatively low oil level or wrong oil (cue an oil debate).
