I just put on some Pirelli sport demons! Not cheap! But handle really well!

Just done the same I am also really happy they are a softer tire as compared with metzler so I think they will not last as long but I prefer grip and contact to the road vers longivity.... Ben Dickens:worthy:

About 150 miles on my new Roadriders and no problems or complaints. Handle well in the twisties and on the highway. Feel is much better than the OEM Metzlers.

My mind must be slipping,I had totally forgotton that I had posted this thread. I think I need a little tire education. What would the advantage of a radial over bias tire be? Also is it possable to seal stock rims to run tubless tires with using tubes?

Yeah, my stock Metzlers are tubeless steel radials with tubes.

See here for the differences http://www.bridgestone.co.in/tyre/tyreknowledge/advantages.asp it's for cars but the principles are the same.

Also, there's a very good article all about tyres here http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/tire-tyre-guide/Tire-TyreTech.htm

And as others have done, I'm using tubeless tyres with tubes on my spoked Bonnie rims.

Cheers,

Pikey.
