Speed 3 lowering link

I have an 06 Speed Triple and its a little tall for me
I can get a lowering link for a very good price but wonder if that isa the way to go
i've heard good and bad
good= lower seat, does not affect handling
bad= screws up the handling and the header pipe smacks the ground!
any opinions out there?

If you are inseam challenged, lower the bike to suit your needs, there is always pro and cons.
If the kit lowering the bike1-1/4 inches you will be fine, will not compromise the handling either.
