New engine very happy

Can't say enough about my Bonneville Performance/Gately engine. It has been a lot of fun bolting the engine on, firing up immediately and running so smoothly over the last 500 miles. Next is to mess with some of the mufflers I have because it feels like I am not getting enough "flow through" with the exhaust.

I got my kit from Bill too, and have been very happy with it for almost 30,000 miles now

crate engine? Which one?

Mark…..go to project thread……viper red build……posting #12 gives a complete description of the engine…….

It was a stock engine with new pistons, rods, cam, valves, barnett clutch, oil pump, stator with Mikuni carb kit, oil pressure gauge new powder coated covers. Not a 904/988/1087 nothing like that just a stock engine but the way Triumph should build them.

Caught up on your project and will add to all the positive comments with a "nicely done"!
Sounds like the folks you got the motor from are the real deal, excellent.
Press on.
