A change is not always for the better. Last winter I ran a triumph scrambler. It was covered in ACF 50 and washed off after ever trip. This year the scrabler went in for a tiger 800, nice bike to ride. But so far after doing the same to protect it, there is paint peeling off the engine, most of the bolts are going white with the salt. But most of all its a pig to keep clean. So next year its back to an other scrambler for me. Als got rocket tourer put well away from the salt.:brit_tit:

I have an 04 T100 and granted it has been taken down and put back together. But along the way I have purchased hundreds of parts from 04 to 09 maybe 10 Bonnevilles and Thruxton's and I have to say the quality of most degraded. I guess its the way of the world the costs have to be cut yadayada. But I find I am keeping the older better parts in my stock bin's.
