    No Ozzi Riders Allowed Thread

Gutted to hear this. Gonna miss seeing WG's name and avatar around. I hope it was a peaceful, comfortable passing and that there is endless two wheeled tomfoolery for him on the other side.

    Changing front springs and oil

Could be, bonZa. i did let them drain back into each fork leg for a minute or so but no question some was still on the springs. Also, both fork seals began leaking last summer so I know they pumped out a fair bit as well. Just seems like 40mm low was a lot but???? Starting to think more and more...

    Changing front springs and oil

Fork Air Gap Anomaly Need some help here gents and gals. Old thread I know but it's a good one and my issue seems to line right up with it rather than a start a new one..... I'm refreshing my Scram's forks with new seals, oil etc. and was planning on a minor tweak mainly to increase my air...

    OEM Chain Guard Mod

Custom Chain Guard Looks sweet GySchmit. Clean work. What did you do the initial trimming/cutting with when you trimmed the fat on the aft portion of the guard? What sort of clear coat did you use?

I'm envious. Currently 29 degrees and snow bound in spud country. No riding but lots of wrenching which is quite good in its own right. Happy New Year guys.

Just turned 41 and I'm no where near mature enough for a bike that fast. Maybe when I turn 50. Probably not...... Looks sweet.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure I didn't say that I wouldn't gladly knock the arse out of 'em. Oh yes, I would. As MY old man says, "any port in a storm, son. any port in a storm". Yes sir! But, fuck man!, a mere puff of wind would knock both them bitches of those bikes.

    New Acquisition - '08 Scrambler

Yup. I've found that my Scram prefers it a bit more rich at WOT. Give it a try, easy enough to swap back. I think you'll find the flat spot on top goes away.

Changing clothes - Bonnyising the Thrux

I dig the new look. Beautiful actually. Since you are versed in spare tins, possibly a spare front fender painted black with a red stripe down the middle.

Welcome FHR. Sweet Scram. Intake mods will wake 'er right up. Enjoy! Edit: Just saw your last post. Is there not a cap nut inside the black sheath/cover. Mirror goes in receptacle, cone shaped portion is squeezed down into receptacle as you tighten the cap nut. All terms made up, hope...
