    My New Ride

I rode dirt bikes, (Husky, and KTM) from late 70's to early 90's, then went back to street bikes. Rode many enduros in Colorado. This was my first year to bring a street bike up there. Had a ball. I stayed in Breck the first week I was there. Rode everyday. I was on a Sprint which belongs...

    Battery runs low

Sounds like the regulator/rectifier isn't doing it's job. Get a volt meter and check voltage across the battery terminals with the engine off, then with it running. Off on a good battery should be 12.4 or so. When the bike is running it should be 14 something. If it's not, you probably need...

    lubricating cables

The throttle and clutch cables are both teflon lined and should require no lubricant as far as I know. If it's sticking, I'd inspect it for wear or binding. Rich

Ya know, I don't post much on here but this one brought me out of the shadows. I've been building cars for 40 + years and I can tell ya, from that video, those folks don't have a clue. That said, they will probably be signed for a 10 year tv deal and make millions! :stupid:

yeah ... a bit of progress on my CB750

Your car doesn't have a rack, it has a steering box, and a hydraulic cylinder for power assist. Check your inner and outer tie rod ends. Look at the idler arm, and bracket. Check for cracks in the shock towers, check the strut rod bushings, etc. You'll find something that's not right, or a...

    Introduction

Thanks, The toys in the background are how I make my living. I can only wish they were all mine. The toy in the front is my relaxation from the "job", which ain't all that bad if you're into internal combustion. I've got a couple of personal cars but I enjoy my time on the Triumph more...

    Introduction

Howdy all, another Texan here. Bought my first Triumph in 68, and my last one is pictured below, an 06. Don't think I'll get rid of this one. ;) Mostly cosmetic mods, paint and polish and a few aftermarket pieces. I cut the back fender down, painted it black, and mounted a lucas taillight...
