Now available aluminum Thruxton seat cowls. They fit stock seat and are a replica shape of stock cowl fastening in the same manner. Much better form and accuracy than formed sheet metal. If you have no plan on selling your Thruxton it might be a good investment. Not sure how long plastic cowls...

After fitting a Lucas tail lamp on my Thruxton I realized it was not as simple as one might think. I would like to share with members a simple bolt on method that is rubber mounted same as stock lamp. Fits Bonneville, Thruxton or Scrambler. You can read all about it at maundspeed@blogspot.

I would like to fit a set of harmonica tank badges on my o8 Thruxton . I have threads in the tank. Before I pry my stick on tank badges off I would like some reassurance the curve of the badge will fit the larger tank. Has anyone got for sure knowledge?
