    My Bonnie

I'm in the same boat as Marty, 30 year old son who finally admitted it's fum to travel at less than warp speed. My 2002 100th Anniversary must have impressed him as he's looking seriously at a Thruxton right now.

    Wobble front end

My 2002 T100 is well set up with stock suspension and good Metzeller rubber and 12,000 K's on the clock. It has always handled well except for a slight "vague" or light feel in the front end. It's never been a problem but I like to play so I sought out a damper to suit. I found mine on eBay...

What is wrong with this bike

For some reason someones reversed the forks and guard so that the brake caliper is to the front. Check the brake hose and the hose guide on the front guard. Also, it doesn't seem to have a clutch cable fitted.

    Tight T100 Fuel Tap

Just came up from the shed and after taking all advice into account, I've soaked the fuel tap with WD40. After a few repeated sprays and working the tap back and forth I've now got a working fuel tap. Thanks guys The reason I've always closed the tap is that over many years I've ridden a lot...

    Tight T100 Fuel Tap

Yep, thats how mine started out, you could turn it toward reserve and then through to full on, but it has gotten worse since. I'm interested to read a comment that BlueJ doesn't close his fuel tap (petcock) How long a period are we talking about?, is it OK to leave the fuel on indefinately...

    Tight T100 Fuel Tap

I'm having trouble turning the fuel tap on my 2002 T100, When it first started to get tight you could turn it on with just a little extra effort but it's gotten gradually worse over the last few years, to a point now that I am worried about snapping something while trying to turn the fuel on...

    New rider questions

By regularly I mean that I do mine after every second or third ride, perhaps a couple of hundred kays between lubes. I clean my chain regularly with kerosene to stop the build up of wax on the links.

    New rider questions

Your centre stand is easy to fit. Follow the instructions and you won't go wrong. Mine also came with 2 springs and I found that you could clip them over the mounting point seperately making it much simpler (less effort). I used needle nose pliers to hold onto it. Chain wax is the go on a hot...

    Bonneville steering dampers

Thanks everyone, the photo of Koifarms green T100 is what I'm leaning towards (from Bella Corse) but those friction dampers could just do the job

    Bonneville steering dampers

Hi all, I'm looking for some advice on steering dampers for new Bonny's. I want to put one on my 2002 Centenery T100 and was happy to go with the Norman Hyde one till tonight when I found one on the Bella Corse site. The Norman Hyde one seems to have neater mounting brackets but the Bella...
