    Bonneville as first 'real' bike

The scooter experience goes a long way in my opinion. The msf course will teach the clutch control.

    Bonneville as first 'real' bike

I think a bonneville would be fine. These engines are quite smooth, user friendly powerplants. The bikes are neutral and well balanced. You've got the basics from the scooter, now you just gotta add shifting which is no big deal.

    Traffic signal sensor?

I've never tried one of these things, don't really need it. Around here the sensor triggered traffic lights are easy to spot. They have a rectangular cut in the road, filled with some type of sealant. When approaching the light, I get on the cut line like a tight rope. If it still seems like...

    Breaking in the engine

Stay off the highway. First it's boring, second bad for break in. My dealer suggested keeping the rpm under 4000, and avoid steady rpm. So yes, stop and go type roads are the best way to travel during break in.

    New T100 - Windshield Questions

Me thinks your dealer knows not what they speak of. Reason I say this is when I bought my 2011 T-100 a little over a month ago my dealer had another one that they set up as a "touring edition" with a king/ queen seat, saddle bags and a windshield.

Bonneville SE or T100 tall riders

I'm somewhere around 5'11" and I felt cramped on the SE. I went with the T-100 for that reason, also I liked the seat better, and I like the look of the spokes and larger front wheel better, fits the classic triumph look better. Took it to the twisties, and it handled just fine, better than...

    Staintune for 2010 SE

Is your air injection still operational? If it is, disable it and see if that helps. If it's already been blocked or removed, you may be sucking air into the exhaust.

Anybody buy a new bonny lately?

My 2011 T-100 goes in for it's 500 mile service Tuesday. Yesterday we got caught out in the rain and by the time I got home she looked like I'd taken her through a river. Cleaned and polished her back up to proper condition.

    Gas tap location?

I think we need to give props to whom ever designed the FI that looks like carbs if even the owner of the bike can't tell a difference. Nice job Triumph!

    First ride Wow!!!!

It's not just the rain, it's the 45 degree temps that make the rain extra special. How many miles ya up to T100JIP? I've managed just over 300 now.
