Guy, it's a little late now, but check your oil level to see if any gas seeped past the rings and into your crank case. :eeek: If it is high drain it and put in fresh before you run the bike further.

I did one and am happy with the results. First step is pull th mufflers and cut just enough of the ends off that the baffle can come out. Since I have never cut a straight line in my life I took my mufflers to (where else?) a muffler shop where they did the job for $5.00. After the ends are...

+1 IMO, any real rider should be able to know how to fix a flat, so learn how. Extra tubes take up little room, and enduro riders typically change them a coulple time during a race. Motorcyclists have been doing long trips for nearly a century and there have never been better roads or better...

You're correct, they were around but not in great numbers due, I believe, to lack of dealerships. Properly set up (and providing the electrics didn't crap out) they were very fast and some of the prettiest Brit bikes ever made.

Glad you like them Guy - they seem to wear quite well also. What pressures are you guys running? Being pretty heavy, I am running about 5 psi higher than the Trailwings but I always wonder what others are doing.
