Re-Jet after Dunstall rep's installed? Suggestions?

When I ran the Dunstall mufflers, I ran 120 main jets. They worked well.

Its time to rebuild my wheels. Need advice from experienced gurus

John, Thanks for the words. I'm trying to make my junk more off road capable, so I'm going with black rims and spokes. I guess I will have to research my tire choices more to decide if I want wider wheels or not. I'm thinking that in soft conditions, the wider off road tire will be a better...

    Lowrider bitches

I think you'll need a gusset between the headtube and the upper frame member. Too much leverage against your welds otherwise.

Its time to rebuild my wheels. Need advice from experienced gurus

My tires are nearing replacement time. I figured while I was doing new tires I'd go ahead and address beefing up my wheels. It seems Buchanans is the main go to place for this. I seem to remember some members on here have had them build their wheels. I'm figuring on using the Excel...

    Alternative 1" Grips

You're making it harder than it is. All Harleys use 1 inch grips, so the selection is truly near endless. Just use an air nozzle to pop the stockers off and slip the new ones on. Total time, under 5 minutes. No need to fumble with the throttle sleeve. Leave it in place.

    Carb vs Fuel Injection

I disagree with the simplicity part. The electric fuel pump system and needed electronics for the EFI makes it more complicated.

    Tire change tools?

I've changed a bunch of tires over the years. I use a pair of Motion Pro tire irons and Goop hand soap for lubricant. No problems if you follow typical tube type tire procedure. I'd rather my safety be in my hands than some shop mechanic. But that's just me.

    Questions about Auxiliary Power Socket

Hedge. I got it from Twisted throttle . com It's an SW Motech brand unit. They are available in cigarette lighter plugs and the smaller BMW style plug like the Triump one, your choice. I like to charge my cell phone and Ipod and use my tire compressor, and all of these items used a car...

    Oil change intervals

I ride a thousand miles a month at least. I use AMSoil full synthetic and still change it at 3k intervals. I'm sure I'm much too cautious in this though.

    Questions about Auxiliary Power Socket

Well heck I never had an issue with water getting in it during any rains. And size certainly does matter when you already have pre-existing cords for use in your car. Why buy an adapter or new cords when you don't have to ? I'd rather have my phone charger, Ipod cord, air compressor, etc...

    Questions about Auxiliary Power Socket

My opinion here, the Triumph unit is cheesy and mounts in a stupid place. This is what I run on my bike. It mounts in a sane place so you can charge your junk while it's in your tank bag. Plus, it's no where near the engine heat or up in the black hole under the tank. Further, it is a...
