    Got my "Q" plate

You know I don't remember...sorry. It's on my registration I'm sure but my bike is over at the shop currently and my papers are under the seat...bringing her home today. I will check and let you know. Regardless of the expense I felt it was worth it...for me anyway... Bob

    Got my "Q" plate

Here in Colorado we have collector plates for cars and motorcycles and they are good for 5 years before needing to be renewed. I have one on my 1968 Triumph Bonneville. Bob

Ass deep to a tall indian

Ball High To A Giraffe Either way you want to say it, it sucks here in the Mile Hi City!!!! We have had more snow in the city this year than all of last year. In fact, we had more snow by mid December than we did all of last year. Yes, the main streets are clear but my street and all the...

    Hagon progressive fork springs

I'm trying to remember if it was 150 or 155 mm. Easy enough to get the answer...call Dave Quinn with Hagon in Connecticut and he will give you the correct air gap measurement...I see you are in Kingston, MA. I know that area well...lived in Manomet back in the day. I rode all over the South...

    Hagon progressive fork springs

I also have Hagon progressive front springs on my T100 and use 20W fork oil as recommended by Hagon. I am very pleased as the difference from stock is quite noticeable...one thing that I really appreciated was no more front end dives when you grab a handful of break. Bob

    treating leather

I have been using Lexol since the 60's for all my leather items... I have always treated my leathers from the get go and throughout the year with it and have had excellent results. Especially here in this dry climate...you need to feed or condition leathers or they will fade and dry out...just...

    Mecum bike auction

Evidently this was the first time Mecum devoted a day to auctioning motorcycles. Yes, there were some nice BSA's that came from a couple of collectors. It appeared to me that the majority of the offered motorcycles were for the "collector" to have in there personal inventory and not to be...

I'll show you mine if you'll show me your's! PICTURE THREAD

Unfortunately stroker the seller only had the one Bonneville...and no doubt I am warm and fuzzy all over with this acquisition. I was just over at the shop doing some tinkering while my Brit mechanic was cleaning up the carb's and adjusting the valves. The points were set way off but all is good...

    Eeek Guns!

Here are a few of many rules for a gunfight you might want to consider... 1. Only hits count. The only thing worse than a miss is a slow miss. 2. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber, stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived. 3. Have a back up plan...

    Eeek Guns!

Select your weapon of choice for personal defense and continue to get instruction on technique...and practice...practice...practice. I am at the range 2 days a week. I want the confidence to know that I will have the proper skills to take what action is necessary if it should present itself. I...
