I guess that depends on if you see it as an investment, or a machine to be ridden...

Either way, I don't think I'm in line to get one of those. Drat. The ol Norton Commando was my dream bike back in the 1970's.

No I would just make a video and some pictures of uncrating and then I'd bring that baby to life!!!
 
Same here. 'Ride 'em, don't hide 'em' is my motto.

This was thrashed out on another forum not long ago. What I said was if you have WAY too much money it would be great to have the original in a box / corner presentation situation, and couple of others to ride, customize etc. If you are only able to have one, then unpack it and ride.
