help - cross thread bolt in headlight bucket

So I'm taking the front end apart. I was removing the light brackets and one of the bolts holding bracket to bucket is cross threaded on its way out. It is solid stuck.........any ideas how to get out??????

screw it back in, hack saw off the head of the bolt, screw it into the bucket and remove, get a new bolt after chasing the threads with an 8mm tap

Thx DR.......but it is jammed...won't go in or out....plus I have a friggin dresser counter sunk washer on bolt so I can't hack off head.....
Play X ...cut the dresser washer off with a dremel....put the VIZEEEE grips on the head and go for it....then re tape hole hopefully same size maybe one size up.....

those threads are made of cheese; I had one stripped new out of the box. Drilled it out and put in a helicoil.

I have one that just spins and never tightens. I left it alone for now-I guess until I need to take the bucket off.
