Why the Scrambler never had an above the disc & swing arm mounted caliper has been the question of many.
It just leaves the caliper exposed to damage or being fouled if off in hazardous territory.
So a different mounting bracket was needed
Mark I Version
Made out of steel this was to prove the viability of the using the OE caliper and brake line hose.
You see by the arrow where the caliper had been dinged when mounted underneath.
Now the plan was to machine something out of high-grade aluminum by an American with 15 years experience using US machines
This is MkII which we will be using for stress & operational tests.
The OE hose works but we believe that a fractionally longer one will allow us to affix it tidily to the swing arm
Let me know your feedback
the production model will be powder coated satin black to blend in with the swing arm.
