I would love to see a Triumph air-cooled 500/650cc single. Give me something styled like the SR500 with a kickstarter (electric added because its a "beginners" bike) and minimalist frame that takes well to mods and I'd roll one up as an urban tracker in a heartbeat. Plain, low tech, air cooled engines are in the minority but they are so great for just riding around. Especially for a beginners bike, there is less stuff to jack up if you drop it. I wish there were more reasonably priced SR500's around the Seattle area to scoop up. Seems some people around here appreciate them enough to warrant big bucks for 30 year old bikes.

I think back on the SRX that I had, and wonder, if Yam hadn't made sooo many mistakes with that bike what greatness it could have been.
