Fishing on lake falcon

Since I'm off work and high on pain killers I figured I'd share some pics of my recent trip to lake falcon on the texas/mexico border. We caught some good 7 and 8lbers. These are babies on this lake but it was fun nonetheless. Enjoy!

Only fished two maybe three times in my life. I am amazed at how big the fish are at the lake in my neighborhood. I actually watched a guy pull out a whopper in the itty bitty lake.

Must be some pretty healthy lake you were fishing, those are nice fish for sure....what were you baiting with , minnows or artificials?

Is that your father?? Looks just like you.

Do you guys eat bass?? Tried once but it was not good. We mostly eat saltwater fish only

Yeah falcon is world renowned for large mouth bass. There aren't many lakes where you get tired of catching 5-6lbers all day. Back im 2008 we both caught 11lb fish!

We only use artificial lures. We caught them mostly on crank baits and plastic worms. Don't eat em, just catch and release. And yes, that's my pops. :)
