Any former America owners out there

I just got myself a 2010 T100 and before i traded the America i took of all the bits i could , now 1 of them being the clutch lifter dress up thingy , they have the same part number ,the America and T100 but this thing don't seem to want to go on , what am i doing wrong , i did not fit it to the America so have no idea why it wont just slip on
I know it`s no big deal but it`s pissen me off that it wont go on

What year was your america the later models have a longer arm

It was/is an 05 , i had another go and no way will it go on

Was the America a 790? If so, they had the shorter clutch arm. The 865cc bikes all have the longer arm. It makes for a lighter clutch pull due to having more leverage.
