Dragon Rally 2007

At the risk of over doing it, here's a short clip of film taken in 2007.

The footage was taken by a friend of mine, Simon Morgan and shows him following another friend of mine, Graham Carrick on his XBR500 outfit.
They are leaving a town called Rhayader in mid Wales. This town is held by many to be the centre of Wales and is some 75 miles from Cardiff where we live. We had stayed there on the Thursday night and were on our way to the next stop in Bettws y Coed, though others were stopping at Llanberis for the Friday.
Rally was on the Saturday somewhere in Snowdonia though at this time we knew not where. We would find out on our arrival at the check point on Saturday morning.
This then gives a short flavour of the ride there. I was on my XS1100 that year.

Towards the end I thought that was some old-timey trickery to make the picture fade out and the I realized it was actually snow accumulation.
