starts and stalls.

just happened last night. bike will start like it should, i put it in first and it stalls. fuel injection will cycle thru like it should start but sounds like a dead battery when i try to start. guy i know has a scrambler that does the same thing, dealer cant find his problem. anyone with similar experience? thanks.

I think the dealer would have checked battery voltage first but you never know, Id start there and make sure the battery is good and the leads are tight.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm thinking your side stand switch or neutral switch might not be functioning properly.

My money is on the sidestand switch if it happens immediately upon switching into first gear.

Just had to jump my sidestand switch while on a trip, if you unplugthe switch behhind the left sidecover jump the to wires on the harness side of the plug
