Looks like you have the same New Bonneville Lucas setup as me. I just pulled my seat and this is what I have (via a block connector). I think where you are seeing blacks, they are dark green with a strip of another colour. No offence, but if you are colourblind, you need someone to verify the colours for you!

Loom side =====> Lights side =====> where to

Green/white =====> Brown* =====> r/h indicator (*could be green/white on your model)

Black =====> Black =====> earth

Yellow =====> Red* =====> rear light (*could be yellow)

Green/Red =====> Orange* =====> l/h indicator (could be green/red)

Green/pink =====> Blue* =====> brake light (could be green/pink)

Hope this helps and makes sense. My aftermarket unit had completely different colours(brown, red, orange, blue) which is why I put the asterisks to reflect the default factory LOOM side colours. If lucky, your aftermarket unit uses the same colours as Triumph in which case you have probably just got some of the dark wires mixed up.

Cheers,

Pikey
