RFI / Shouldered Rims

In all the years I've been toying with Hinckley Bonnies (pretty much solid since '01), I've never seen anyone replace the stock rims with shouldered rims. I've seen many (many!) sets of Excel rims, but none with shouldered rims.

I have to believe that that's because there's nobody making shouldered rims to fit our bikes (19" / 40-holes up front, 17" / 36-holes in the back). Old Britts sells a 40-hole 19" front rim that might work, but I can't find a matching 17" rim for the back (I don't want to go up to an 18" rim - did that, didn't like it).

Anyone have a lead on who might have or make a set of shouldered rims for our Bonnies?

Good question...
Buchanan has an aluminum shouldered 19/40 but no 17...
But you already knew that...
Did you contact them about the 17?
I'm interested in what you find out...

morad makes a 17"/36 shouldered rim. check them out. it is 3.50" wide. they also make a 17"/40 shoudered rim that is 2.50". hope this helps.

I looked at Morad's.. I see a 17 X 3.50 in their 'classic' TC Type rim, but not in their "S Type" shouldered rim. Am I missing it?
