Mystery Fuel Tank

Someone from the Yukon parked a scrambler next to mine last week at the D2D Trek, and it has what appears to be a much larger tank than my stock 4.4gal. Any ideas from the color /shape what it may have come off? The Bonneville and Thruxton all have the same 4.4 Gal. capacity according to the specs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a stock tank - and I'm just speculating - it might be he put an EFI (2009 newer) tank on it? They kinda look bigger - but have a 4.2 gal capacity.

To my eye that tank looks to be much wider at the rear, where it meets the seat, than a stock tank but otherwise looks the same. My guess would be that it is a modified stock tank. :d

I can guarantee it's wider. My bike was parked right next to it. The Hyde tank doesn't look the same to me, either. I wish I could have talked to the owner.

IMO that is not a stock tank or seat. I have not really seen anything similar to those. We've got a mystery I think.

Looks EFI but it's probably not EFI because it has a fuel tap.
Not Norman Hyde because of the shape and badges.
. Purple is not a stock colour for any year.
A Thunderbird tank?

Could be a modified stock one. Most likely.
