saddle bags

what bags are you guys rockin. i wanna get the Cortech Sport Saddlebags but i have a thrux and no rear fender. i might have to make a little brakcet so the bags dont come close to the rear wheel.
any input?

Skeeter, those are the ones I use... I like 'em, they look good with my upswept pipes - the bottom of the bag matches the contour of the pipe. Don't be a dumbass like me though, buy or make a brace, otherwise the bags will eventually get roughed up by the shocks, although you can get away without braces for awhile before damage occurs... I like these also because they're easy on, easy off.

+1 on the bag brackets....... I bought a new 3 piece set of the Cortech Tourmaster bags for my Bonnie. I strapped them on and rode out to Colorado.. By the time I got back I had worn a hole in the bags from them getting against the tire and also a big worn spot from rubbing on the rear shocks.. I now a have the 3 piece set of Hepco Becker hard bags, but paid a lot more for them..

i have a lot of the 1/4 round bar stock and i was gonna bend in up to make a brace so the bags dont hit the wheel. ill also make it so the bracket came come off. i got my welder and an idea so i know i can make em work
