D9 bracket install on Bonnie Black

GF has been wanting a tach added to her Bonnie Black for quite some time. Instead of just adding a LSL tach kit or Triumphs own plain tach kit .. I opted for something a wee bit different and trick. The D9 black mamba special ... yeah come on!

I've posted in the product review section on this previously - but feel I still need to say somethign more .. this is the 2nd D9 lay flat bracket I've installed and they just keep getting better. I have a silver no-nonsense one on the Silver Bullet. This stuff is well thougtht out and top shelf quality.

Pictures below ...

1. The D9 Black Mamba Special kit
2. The Triumph Tach kit
3. The before - stock speedo only on a Bonnie Black with Thrux screen
4. The disassemble begins
5. The house REQUIRES a steady supply of bandages.
6. Finshed the assembly off the bike.
7. After side view - without Thrux screen
8. Just a couple more bolts to tighten down and she's done!

That is beautiful, Bonafide, and black as the ace of spades. Must be nice with the key right in front. Oh, the Muppet bandaid is a nice, playful touch.
A question: your source for the directionals? They look good, nice and tiny.

The source? They were laying on the work bench, dunno how I came across them other than they are off the shelf from cyclegear kind. Nothing special. They do look better than the square EMGO amber ones IMO.

Dinkywinkas? If your go to a auto parts store(not NAPA ,KRAGEN, AUTOZONE etc.) that has a decent assortment of electrical terminals, you can find the exact GM type of crimp connector that plugs into the stock plastic piece. I found it in the trailer wiring section. Done right, with no cutting and splicing.

Oh yeah, Bonafide that bike looks Tuff.
