$8K for a 'restored' 500 twin seems a little high. Maybe if it were all original 'unrestored' condition and was still in that great of shape... Even then, $8K for a 500 twin seems a little rich for my blood.

Recommend you take a breath, settle down , and look at a few auction site sales before you spend that $8k asking price.
Me thinks that's a bit over the top at this point, seems like the more pedestrian motor's such as this one have taken a bit of a dip in value lately.
