Me, GF, Thrux-ton-up, and Sanjuro rode over Saturday morning to Barbers. As fun and exciting as this event is, we saw some coool bikes/etc, had some good times, and mullet hunting was in prime season ... our group did have it's share of woes.

Sanjuro's bike lost it's tag bracket somewhere between Talapoosa, Ga and Anniston, Al that held the GA State issued license plate and brake light. OOPs.

Wearing leathers might be a good idea for riding early in the morning cool weather air, but SUCK for walking around in 85+deg weather.

Some DOUCHEBAG stole GF's Shoei RF1000 helmet while were inside Logans having dinner. Great ... we're a 100 miles from home and some knob wants to take your $500 helmet? the one M/C shop we do find has NO real helmets and GF ends up spending $50 on a chrome non-DOT nut cup and a pair of clear shooting glasses, so we can get home ... and now it's dark. The local PD came by for the theft report and gave GF a ride to get the chrome lid.

That stinks on the helmet. I keep a small, travel suitcase lock on my handlebar. I always lock the d-ring onto my clutch lever. If someone wants my helmet, they'll have to cut the strap. So far, it's worked.
Lock rides here when not in use.

Sounds like an adventure... the helmet theft completely sucks... damn I'd be mad.

Bummer about the helmet Dude, but it's okay, I'll send it back, doesn't fit just right.....

Remember if you're wearing leathers and it's hot out, just find a drink vendor, get some ice and dump it down yer skivvies, makes a huge difference !

That CB550 was sitting in front of Fullers trailer. Pretty freaking cool bike.
