Schott (made in the USA) Jacket

I have never been able to justify 500-600 dollars for a jacket. I really enjoy well made and well made in the USA. I recently purchased a used Schott jacket with some pin holes in it from emblem removal. The pin holes are nothing…..what is impressive is the quality, the leather, the fit. Great jacket…..so glad I found one I could afford….

I have a Schott 141 that is about as old as my oldest son, and is in fine shape and is worn most non-rainy days of the year. They are well worth the price!!

I have a Schott 141 as well - Bought mine at Dave's NY around '97 I guess... Absolutely love it. I also have a Schott brown leather aviator jacket from years ago,and it still looks brand new!

Schott are not cheap but I doubt you'll find a better jacket. The 141 is so comfortable. I live in a warm climate and while it's too warm to wear it right now I find I can still wear it a good 8 months of the year. I don't think I would ever buy a leather bike jacket that wasn't Schott.

Schott is high dollar but top quality. You can buy any number of leather jackets for half the price, but you end up getting just that - half. I'm still dreaming of a Schott 585, but I'd like to see it and try it on first, and that's a model I'll probably never find in a store.

Wanna bet? :poke:

This is my Langlitz 10 pocket padded Columbia. But then again... it's also twice the price of a Schott. I'd like to say that this is the last jacket that I'll ever have to buy, but I know it's not. I took the proceeds from the Schott that I sold to Lach to put towards a BMG (British Motorcycle gear) Montana jacket. :D
