Quick-release windscreen

Newbie question..how do I remove the alleged Quick-release tall windscreen from my 10' Bonneville SE

Straddle the front wheel facing the windshield, Grasp both sides of the windshield and pull towards your body, lift up, its off.

Key Lock

+1 Slick Willy, just make sure the Key Lock (if supplied) is not engaged. Its on the the left of the screen hardware when you're at the front tire.
