Modifications of Bonneville with Lucas-style lightings such as tail light and signal lights, are common, attempting to make it more traditional British motorcycles. Today, I would like to introduce the traditional headlight, Lucas-TVS, for Bonneville with 7 inch-size headlight.
In comparing Lucas-TVS with the original headlight, you can notice that Lucas-TVS has more round shape.
First, Lucas-TVS headlight is swaped with the original one to attach to the headlight assembly parts. See self-explanatory PICT #1-10.
Second, Lucas-TVS headlight needs headlight bulb (British Pre-Focus, 12V 60/55W) and the bulb holder. At close look, I always fascinated by its beauty of the bulb mechanism. One precaution to note is that “never touch the bulb with bare finger with sebum (oil component)!”, otherwise, it will be cracked!
The H4 connector is also used in this picture.
