How do you like the staintunes? I picked up a set and want to tone down my thruxton a bit...so its either fitting those or the TEC 2 into 1 system that is sitting in my spares.

The Staintunes are fantastic! Very well made, sound great, not too loud or annoying but you'll turn heads. The TEC 2-1 I put on my Thruxton, it sounds like a 450 MX bike...bloody awful, but it looks OK on the Thruxton.

I think the 2-1 sound great on Scramblers though.

Welcome alx...cool bike!
What are those rear shocks? I like.

they are hagon nitros. the shocks and handlebars are the first 2 things i changed.
by the way I'm a big fan of your gauge brackets. props on that.

also question for the forum guys. do you like this seat or do you think a black one would look better?
something like this?

I say keep the tan seat. It does look good!

It's been a while since I last posted a photo of the bike.

I went back to the original blue tank and OEM seat. The BC Slammer was nice and I liked the additional height it gave me between the seat of my pants and the footpegs, but with the longer rear suspension, it was a little too tall when trying to maneuver the bike while on the balls of my feet on gravel. And with the OEM seat, I can get on the throttle hard without feeling like I'm going to slide off the back of the bike.

Got a great deal on some pieces listed on eBay.

I may be in the minority here, but I've always preferred the older Bonnies where the side panels were black and didn't color match the rest of the bike (excluding blacked out Bonnies).

Of course I may change my mind tomorrow, but today, I like it. ;) I got too good of a deal on the set not to give it a go.

The fender I'll be putting up for sale.

Looks nice! I think that's why I got rid of my side covers initially. (thruxtons were always color matched) It made the bike a little bulbous with that extra color.

Damn I got caught in that pesky 10% chance of rain yesterday on Saffron with no rain gear. . . .Unfortunately the stock fender brace/bracket won't fit my fork lowers or I'd snag that fender. Road spray to the face isn't fun
