Double Trouble: Twin Norton-Engined retro drag bike from Flyrite Choppers

What's cooler than a Norton-powered drag bike? How about a double Norton-powered drag bike (built right here in Austin, TX no less)?

Hmm, to my mind the thing should be more of a fire breathing, gnomelike, rock throwing type of vehicle. Any 1/4 mile times out there?

Those Flyrite guys are incredible. Started a lot easier than I had assumed when reading the Horse article. I'd love to pore over that in person and see it in action.

That video led me to a few Stevie Ray Vaughn videos, boy, I miss him.

yeah Flyrite is cool. I've been to their shop a handful of times. They do a nice open house every year. Bands, BBQ, BYOB, tons of bikes (you can actually sit on, touch, fondle, etc) and generally run amuck in their shop.

Yeah, SRV. Another Austin, TX icon!
