Hi Guys,
In my introduction post last year, I told you i was about to change the Triumph CDI for a TTP fire starter. It took longer than expected as these little things are f.. expensive but now i now it was worth it.
My Bonnie is a 790 with around 15000 miles, that I had slightly modified with Norman Hyde Toga pipes and a KN air filter after I got it in 2014.
After 3 months use od the TTP firee starter, what i can tell is:
The power losses and unexpected ignition cuts are history now.
I have gained 500 rpm.
And no problem to start the engine when it is cold. (-1°C )
Here's the link to TTP: http://www.triumphtwinpower.com/fire-starter-performance-igniter-unit.php
I will be happy to answer your questions.
