I've got dual discs so it doesn't matter to me anymore but, I always wondered about that kit, and whether or not it actually truly improved the braking vs the stock 2pot nissin.

Yes, it's a definite improvement over OEM for 2 main reasons: 4-pistons and a floating rotor.

So it has two pistons on either side pushing towards one another, ah! How much thicker than stock is the caliper itself?
