Bonnie and Hacked Scrambler Up the Coast

Well, we did a 2 week trip on our hacked Scrambler, for our dogs and our Bonnie T100. Packed for camping and traveled up the coast of Northern CA. and Oregon Coast. Took our time and did not rush. The only issue we had was a slight oil leak on the Bonnie. Loose oil pan bolts. Overall had a great time.

That's pretty awesome. At least you took your time. Thanks for posting pics of your trip. How do the dogs deal with the noise of the Scrambler? Are they used to it?

They seem to be indifferent to it or they don't show it. After hacking the Scrambler, I sat in the sidecar without the windscreen and it was not too noisy, but enough to be bothersome. The exhaust noise was not a factor. I installed a windscreen from Claude Stanley and it helped reduce the noise from the wind. The dogs lay down most the time while on the highway. The Doxie is mostly in the nose of the hack. The Aussie doesn't show any distress. He usually sticks his head out while in the car anyway.

Moto camping is better with dogs…
How true! That's my first and only reason for a hack!
