Go AZ Motorcycles Desert To Sea Ride
July 27, 2013 6:30 AM

Beat the heat in the desert with a cool ride out to San Diego. We will meet at Go AZ Motorcycles at 6:30 am with side stands up at 7. The route will take us to the California border on the interstate then up into the mountains and twisty roads in California which then we’ll descend into San Diego where the weather is usually always perfect!
The suggested hotel is the Mission Valley Resort. To make reservations, call (800) 362-7871 and mention “Go AZ Motorcycles Event” for a discounted rate. We will meet for dinner at 7:00 pm at Dick’s Last Resort.
On Sunday, we will meet for breakfast at 8:00 am and then head back to Phoenix via another set of twisty California mountain roads.
This ride will be a somewhat self-guided tour. Advanced/fast riders will be encouraged to ride up front and at comfortable pace. It is OK to group up with who you’d like to ride as well as not riding with the group. There will be a couple of us sweeping the ride at the back for anyone that would like/require assistance. Please download and print the map and route sheets below, especially if you plan on riding up front. If you’d like a GPX file for your Garmin GPS, please email me at [email protected].
