Doug, My disappointment was not being able to hang around for the FREE parade lap at the end of the day. Road Atlanta deferred the $25 fee for Triumph owners to ride a lap or two around the circuit. GG

Spent some time at the Triumph Big Kahuna at Road Atlanta on Saturday. Attached are a few pictures. It's a beautiful track.

My favorite That's the best looking sprocket cover I've seen. I'd go one step further and combine it with the standard Bonneville badge or the "eyebrow" badge to repeat the horizontal lines. But, to each his own, right!

The tank has been empty and on the shelf for over a year. Perhaps the rust is recent.

Nope, nothing custom, Seth. This became a spare tank when I installed the black and chrome one. Alas, it fell off the shelf and received a softball size dent. Now it's a piece of "art" hanging on my garage wall...cool!

Attached are pictures of the inside of the right side of a 2001 tank. The rust around the top seems minimal to me. Since the petcock/reserve is on the left side of the tank (not pictured), you can understand how a gallon of gas could easily be "trapped" on the right side. The breather/overflow...

I've had good results using the Uni Pod UP4229AST and Outerwears 20-2449 pre-filters. The pre-filters provide additional weatherproofing and as Mike said, they probably restrict the airflow a little, but it's very little.

RH, I think you're right. A carb breather hose should probably be attached. I wonder what the consequences (or symptoms) of NOT having a hose attached would be? I'll attach a 3/8" or 5/16" OD (1 cm?) hose and see if it makes any noticeable difference.

What is the purpose of this T-Fitting between my stock Keihin CVK36 carbs? Am I missing a hose? (This isn't the fuel line connection point from the tank, but something else.)
