Has anybody had experience with the sixty8 side panels? I've seen them advertised and read that they are only compatible starting at 2004, and also read that they would fit all models/years.

So when I jack up the front tire off the ground and remove the end cap for the stock spring, then with the pressure of the springs and spacers will it 'pop out' the end cap as it's just about done with it's threading when it's off the ground? Man all this talk of how delicate the aluminum...
