I'll show you mine if you'll show me your's! PICTURE THREAD

I had my '07 set up that way too and really loved it. Nice to get to the rear wheel without having to take them off too plus the up-sweep look is really great.

    odd carb goo

The problem with ethanol is WHEN there is water evident, and water always finds a way, you get phase separation. Phase separation: http://www.lcbamarketing.com/phase_separation_in_ethanol_blen.htm If you can ensure there is no presence of water, ever, none, zilch...from the refinery to...

    Broke my golden rule

I had my clutch side cap rotting out and noticed it about a month ago. I'm glad I saw it first because I probably would have done what you did! Reminds me of that scene in the movie Sling blade when they were working on the mower and he asked if they checked to see if it had gas :D

    NEW Bonnie

I couldn't agree more and was my first thought looking at this bike. Don't forget the fake Amal carbs and fake pancake filters. And then how the fender/fender stays match up with it along with sprocket cover and heel protector. Feels like the space age meets up with the modern classic age and...

    Jake's Ride to Julian, CA

There is a bitter sweetness reading a ride report like this when you just get done having 6 inches of snow crap down on you! Good on you getting out on a ride to see the grandkids. Sounded like a blast.

Anyone taken a long road trip on their Bonnie

The Bonnie is an excellent bike to consider buying used. Hinckley Triumph really went out of their way to overcome the stereotype of the Meriden bikes and built one hell of a tank of a motor. Very under stressed motors that holds up. I bought mine used six years ago and haven't looked back...

I'm right up the road from you. I have the bike apart right now putting new fork oil & springs in it but plan on having the bike ready for an honor flight ride next month. You shopping used or going to buy new?

Anyone taken a long road trip on their Bonnie

I did a 5 day, 3,000 mile trip circling the coastline of Hokkaido, Japan. Epic ride and my Bonnie was more than capable for the task.

    UK Parts Supplier?

Look up world of Triumph. I believe that is a UK based company and you can order OEM parts straight from them.

    parts prices

The oil filter for a Bonneville was originally designed for a Honda CRV. Cheap as hell when you shop for a filter for the CRV versus shopping for the Bonnie

Giving Credit When It's Not Due

I always stop in at Donelson whenever I happen to find myself in that "OTHER" city in Missouri...:D Seriously though, it's one of the good ones. I think they have been there since 1952 (or something like that) and a pretty cool mini-museum too.

Giving Credit When It's Not Due

I did it by submitting my zip code but probably should just use a St Louis one. Donelson is a good dealership just was wondering if it effected delivery. Baxter is up in Iowa
