I think that shift lever is connected to the shift shaft, but I don't see a clutch. It's just another fashion poseur bike built for a photo shoot. Steve McQueen would kick this bike off its kickstand.

For some cost perspective, I bought a cherry used FZ1 that makes 140hp for about $4k. It also has better suspension and insanely good brakes. I'd love a 1087cc Bonnie but I just can't justify the cost.

It's not a "concept" frame, it's a factory Bonnie frame that they modified.

You mean 994cc, not 944cc. Both the 904cc and the 994cc kits are just big bore kits. The 904cc kit is just a bored out stock cylinder and the 994cc kit is a completely new billet cylinder. The stock cylinder can't be bored out to 994cc because it isn't thick enough. The 994cc also requires...

A stroker motor will cost you as much as a used Bonnie. The 994cc kit is cheaper than a stroker motor and makes good power, but it won't make it ride like a ST.

Ethanol in fuel is really hard on old carbs and rubber fuel lines. I don't think it's as much of an issue with newer carbs, like on the Bonnie, but it may make the lines need to be replaced prematurely. Say, every 5-7 years instead of 10 years...

A 904cc Bonnie is just a little faster than a stock Bonnie. There's a notable difference but it'll be nothing like a Duc or Street Triple unless you're prepared to spend stupid money on parts. I vote for Ducati! ;)

I've heard that condensation can build inside the engine from the moisture getting in through breather filters, etc, and the moisture can make the oil acidic, or something. An engine is not sealed up like an oil can is. I think it's a good idea to change the oil before riding if it has sat up...
